Araku Tribal Museum
The Araku Tribal Museum was opened in 1996 by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. The Araku Tribal Museum exhibits the lifestyle of the tribal caste. The museum displays everything from utensils, jewelry, hunting equipment to wedding photographs, to what traditional tribal life looks like. While the tribe adorns the artistic walls here, a section on the museum displays local peacock and dhimsa dances.
The Borra Caves are located in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley. Borra caves were created when river water flowed from the limestone, and the calcium carbonate was converted into calcium bicarbonate, which was easily washed away by the flowing water.
