The capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is situated on the banks of the Sabarmati river, 23 km from Ahmedabad. An estimated 555 km away from Mumbai, and 901 km away from Delhi. It’s the central point of the financial capital of India and the political capital of India.

Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park
In the park, there are dinosaur petrified eggs and some fossils, it’s the main attraction of the park. This is not a place where dinosaurs live but it has been created by humans. This is the only dinosaur museum in the whole country. The park was established by the Geological Survey of India.
BAPS Akshardham temple
According to the BAPS denomination of Swaminarayan, Hinduism temple was created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1921-2016), the fifth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan. the temple tribute to Swaminarayan and his life and teachings and It took about 13 years to build.
Dandi Kutir (Salt Mount) Museum
The only and the largest museum of India is Dandi Kutir and its built on the teachings and life of Mahatma Gandhi is located in Gandhinagar
The Dandi Cottage Museum has been kept open to the public since January 2015 under the Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities, Government of Gujarat by the Office of Archeology and Museums.
The viewing day is Tuesday to Sunday and its time is 10.30 AM to 5.00 PM. Monday it is close. And It takes about 1.30hrs to visit the museum.
If there is one famous picnic spot in Gandhinagar, it is Sarita Udhyan. Sarita udhyan is a scenic garden full of ornamental flowers and trees. There is a deer park next to it, which is one of the other famous places in Gandhinagar. This is a famous place for nature and wildlife photography.
