The city of Rajsamand is located in Rajasthan, named after the lake Rajsamand. This is an artificial lake built by Rana Raj Singh of Mewar in the 17th century. It is the administrative headquarters of Rajsamand district.

Rajsamand Lake 

Rajsamand Lake also called Raj Samudra Lake which located near the town of Rajsamand. It was built in 1660 by Rana Raj Singh.  it is approximately 6.4 km long and 2.82 km wide, 18 m deep. It is an aquatic area of ​​about 196 square miles, built around the rivers Kelva, Gomti, and Tali. during World War II, it was used as a seaplane base.

Chetak Smarak

Chetak Chetak Smarak is also known as  Chetak Samadhi. This monument was erected behind the famous horse Chetak of Maharana Pratap. During the battle of Haldighati, the horse miraculously defended Maharana Pratap, after which horse died because of wounds of battle. The monument was erected on the spot where Chetak died.

It is located in the village of Balicha in the Aravalli hills in the lake district of Rajsamand. In 2003,  the Archaeological Survey of India declared this Smarak or Samadhi as a Monument of National Importance in Rajasthan. 

There is an old museum dedicated to this war Which is located at a distance of 4 km from Nathdwara temple. 

Eklingji Mahadev Temple

Eklingji is a Hindu temple complex located in the Udaipur district in western India. Maharana rules as his Dewan because it is believed to be the ruling deity of Mewar Princely State.

The original temple at Eklingji was built by Bappa Rawal, an 8th-century ruler, According to the 15th-century text Ekalinga Mahatmya. The original temple was destroyed by the invasion of the Delhi Sultanate. 

The oldest idol was erected by Hamir Singh. he also carried out massive renovations of the main temple.

It is built at a distance of 50 km from Udaipur and will be completed in a few months and it will be open to the public. it will be the first tallest statue of Lord Shiva and the 4th tallest statue in the world. 

In which an estimated 750 workers are working. It uses high-quality copper and 2,500 tonnes of refined steel.
