Bathinda Municipal Corporation and a city located in the Southwestern part of Punjab.  It is the current administrative headquarters of Bathinda District and one of the oldest cities in Punjab. Bathinda is located in the Malwa region in northwestern India, and its 227 km away from the west of the capital Chandigarh. It is the fifth-largest city in Punjab. Bathinda has been nicknamed ‘City Of Lakes‘ courtesy of the city’s artificial lakes.
