Araku Valley is a hill station in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This hill station is in the Visakhapatnam district. Araku Valley is also known as Ooty of Andhra. The Araku Valley is located in the humble hills of the Eastern Ghats. Araku Valley is also home to many species. This is a place that is mostly visited by locals at weekends. Beekeeping farms are widespread in Araku, with many types of flavored honey being produced commercially. There are many tribal caves in this valley. There is also a museum displaying the culture of the tribe. The place is also known for its coffee production. Coffee is produced in large quantities here. Activities like tricking and swimming are also done here to attract tourists.

Katiki Falls

Katki Falls is located near Borra Cave. The natural landscape around the falls is green. It is an ideal attraction for beginner to intermediate level trekkers. The falls fall from the river Gostani. This place is a beautiful and excellent place for nature lovers. This place is very beautiful in the monsoon. The cool breeze of Katiki Falls, the greenery, and the quiet sounds will take away all the worries in one’s mind.

Araku Tribal Museum 

The Araku Tribal Museum was opened by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation in 1996. Tribal culture is represented in the Araku Tribal Museum. From utensils, jewelry, hunting tools to wedding photographs, the museum showcases traditional tribal life. The museum is not historical but exhibits the lifestyles of as many as 19 tribes living in the vicinity. There is a parrot here that speaks the language there and that is the fate of the people. This parrot attracts tourists who come there. A section of the museum displays local Mayur and Dhimsa dances.

Matsyagundam

Matsyagundam is located in the valley of Araku. Matsyagundam is also known as the ‘fish pool‘. This small village is home to a variety of fish. It is believed that there was a war between snakes and fish in a place called Matsya Rajulu. Mother Fish saved all the fish from snakes during the war and bought them all here in this village. Fish are believed to have lived here after this time. It is generally believed that even today, Shri Matsya Lingeshwara Swami is protecting the fish. Due to this belief, no one in this village catches fish and does not even eat it.

Chaparai Waterfalls 

Chaprai Falls is also popularly known as Dumbriguda Waterfall. It is one of the most scenic tourist destinations in the Araku Valley. This space is more sought after for the Telugu film industry. The best time for a nature lover to experience nature here would be at sunrise or sunset. The elegance of water flowing from natural rocks is inclined.

Bheemili Beach

Bhimili is located at the mouth of the river Gosthani. Bhimili Beach Fishing city Bheemunipatnam is considered to be the second most designed region of India. A sixteenth-century Dutch cemetery is located here which confirms the circumstances and the presence of Old Dutch in the region.
