Salugara Monastery

Salugara Monastery is established by Tibetan Buddhist monks and followers of the Dalai Lama. The monastery is famous for the 100-foot stupa founded by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche. The monastery is also known internationally as the Tashi Gomang Stupa. The monastery also houses five types of Buddhist relics. This is a Buddhist temple.

The park is primarily a natural habitat for sal and its associated species.

Coronation Bridge

The Coronation Bridge is also known as the Sevoke Bridge. The bridge is located around the river Teesta. The foundation stone of the bridge was laid in 1937 by the then Governor of Bengal, John Anderson. It was named to commemorate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. At the entrance of this bridge, there is a statue of two tigers which is why the locals call this bridge Blackpool. The bridge is an incredible example of Roman architecture-inspired architecture.

There is a dense forest near Jaldapara National Park in Chilapata One Doors. Creates an elephant corridor between the national park and Buxa Tiger Reserve. Attractions in this forest include the ruined castles of the Null kings, Tonga rides, and boating on the Banaya River. During a hunting expedition around Chilapata Forest in 1892-1904, the Maharaja of Cooch Behar killed a rhino.
