Kurseong is a city in the Darjeeling district. Kurseong is a hill station. The city is famous for its springs, temples, and Buddhist gompas. Kurseong is also known as the ‘Land of White Orchids‘. This place is an excellent place for nature lovers. Tea plantations, snow-capped mountains, and lush green forests provide a breathtaking view. Kurseong is also known as the land of glorious sunsets. The name of this city means small white orchid which was given by a British. The rain falls incessantly in this city.

The Ambotia Shiva Temple is located in the Ambootia Tea Estate. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Near the temple is an orange orchard where tourists flock in large numbers to admire its beauty.It is considered to be one of the most popular temples in Kurseong.
